Karwa Chauth 2020 was observed on November 4 where we saw many Bollywood stars like Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli, Neha Kakkar-Rohanpreet Singh, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas and many more celebrating this festival in their fashion. Even one of the power couples, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan observed fast for each other on this special day. The Breathe actor revealed their celebration was 'a nice quiet family affair'. However, as junior AB kept fast for his wife, he forgot to do an important ritual. Well, he was supposed to wake up in the morning for the sargi ritual but he forgot and ended up eating nothing.
Speaking to KoiMoi.Com, AB Jr said, "We were both busy working the whole day and then in the evening, the ladies do their pooja. In the night they wait for the chand (moon) and do the pooja and break the fast. It was just that – a nice quiet family affair" Adding to this, Abhishek's little co-star from the upcoming film Ludo, Inayat Verma told the portal, "Abhishek bhaiya ne mujhe bataya tha ki unhone fast rakha tha toh wo sargi karna bhul gaye the subah uthke. Toh unhone kuch bhi nai khaya tha (Abhishek told me that he had kept the fast, but forgot to wake up in the morning for the sargi ritual. So, he ate nothing the entire day.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her birthday on November 1 and she got the sweetest birthday wish from her hubby Abhishek as he wrote, "Happy birthday Wifey. Thank you for everything! All that you do for us and mean to us. May you always smile and be happy. We love you eternally. I love you."
